His career really started moving when he joined Telemedia, then T Investment Corp, a Canadian holding. He also founded Redline Communications Inc., a company that sells powerful wide-area wireless networks for the most challenging locations and mission-critical applications for their clients worldwide.

Nannette de Gaspé Beaubien is a seasoned executive who is sought after for her financial acumen and natural marketing instincts. Holding an MBA from the University of Toronto, she finds “turning start-ups into success stories” professionally rewarding. She has worked with BMO Financial Group and Telemedia Ventures, and is an advisor to senior management in a number of corporations.

FRANÇOIS DE GASPÉ BEAUBIEN

After studying at Haverford College and earning an MBA at Harvard, François assumed co-ownership of Telemedia. Convinced of the need to “measure results to ensure excellence,” he later contributed to Zoom Media’s spectacular growth into a worldwide company. He is chair of the board of the Digital Place Based Advertising Association (DPAA), an NGO that seeks to stimulate the growth of outdoor media.

NANON DE GASPÉ BEAUBIEN MATTRICK

Nanon de Gaspé Beaubien-Mattrick is convinced that “every day is an opportunity to live life to the fullest and passionately make a difference.” As president and founder of Beehive Holdings, an angel investment firm, she previously contributed to growing Telemedia into Canada’s largest consumer magazine publisher and the country’s largest radio operator. With an MBA from Harvard Business School, Nanon currently sits on the board of a number of private corporations.

The co-founder of AquaHacking, Philippe IV went through secondary school at Lower Canada College in Montreal and at Neuchâtel Junior College in Switzerland. Currently enrolled at New York University, he has acquired work experience as a summer intern with CIBC Financial Services and Dealroom.com.

Louis-Alexandre DE GASPÉ BEAUBIEN

16-year-old high school student, Louis-Alexandre is currently a student at Montreal’s Lower Canada College. Involved since 2011 in the de Gaspé Beaubien Foundation initiative on water conservation, he is one of the instigators of River Mission, which seeks to raise awareness among riverine communities of the need to preserve the Ottawa River.

Tatianna DE GASPÉ BEAUBIEN

19-year-old college student, Enrolled in Grade 12 at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, British Columbia, Tatianna senses that her future lies in the field of early childhood education. She has long volunteered among children, including at summer camps, visual arts studios, daycare centres, and the Victoria Nature School, which introduces 3-to-5-year-olds to the beauty of the natural world—the best teacher there is.
